Effective October 20, 2026 · Applies to the Bloq apps for iPhone and Mac and to purchases made on bloq.ac and pay.rev.cat

These terms cover your use of Bloq, the app that bloqs distracting apps and websites on your iPhone and Mac. By downloading or using Bloq, or buying Bloq Pro, you agree to them. If you got Bloq from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

The service

Bloq uses Apple's Screen Time technology on iPhone and local enforcement on Mac to bloq the apps and websites you choose, on a schedule or on demand. You need an account to sync your sessions between devices and to restore purchases. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Bloq Pro subscriptions

• Bloq Pro is available as a weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown before you buy. Local prices may vary.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. When a free trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged unless you cancelled before the trial ended.
• Bought in the iPhone app: billed by Apple to your Apple ID. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions.
• Bought on the Mac or the web: processed by Stripe through RevenueCat, our billing provider. Manage or cancel it from the link in your purchase receipt or from Manage Subscription in the Mac app. We never see or store your card details.
• When you cancel, you keep Bloq Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.

Bloq Pro Lifetime

Bloq Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Bloq Pro for as long as Bloq is offered, on every device signed in to your account, with no recurring charge. It may be offered only once, at the price shown at the time. Buying Lifetime does not cancel an existing subscription: if you still have one, turn it off yourself (the app shows you how) so you are not charged again.

Refunds

Purchases made through the App Store are refunded by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. For purchases made on the Mac or the web, email support@bloq.ac and we will help. Where your local law gives you a right to a refund, that right applies.

Acceptable use

Don't use Bloq to monitor or restrict another person's device without their permission, and don't try to reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the app or its services.

Disclaimer

Bloq is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Bloqing depends on Apple's frameworks and your device settings, so we can't guarantee that every app or website will always be bloqed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Bloq.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with its effective date above. Continuing to use Bloq after a change means you accept the updated terms.
